Yogi Adityanath, one of the most controversial leader is all let to be the new chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is known for making controversial statements. His name has been coming up since 8th march when BJP won elections in UP, alongside with names of Manoj sinha and keshav Maurya and rajnath singh.
He has been chosen as the UP BJP legislature party leader. He will take oath as UP CM on Sunday, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma deputy CMs of the state.
The 44-year-old Adityanath is a five-time Member of the Parliament from Gorakhpur constituency. He has represented the constituency in the Lok Sabha since 1998. He is popular in the Gorakhpur belt and he is notoriously famous for his ‘ghar wapsi‘ and ‘love jihad‘ and Hindutva campaigns.
During the UP elections he also claimed that saffron party will pave way for Ram Mandir Construction in Ayodhya.
He is known for his powerful oratory, though most of his speeches have a communal spirit in it, hence keeping communal politics alive.
Adityanath has rebelled against his party on several occasions, but because of the stature and positions he holds over the ‘Hindu’
voters, the BJP apparently could not ignore his ‘leadership qualities.’
